Isn’t it funny how much someone can change in a year? Like, to the point that you are thankful they are no longer a part of your life? I find that really scary. Unless of course the change is for the better, but in this case, it’s not.

I remember there was a time when I would give anything to keep this person in my life.. now I’m thankful they’re gone and I pray that it stays that way. It’s just sad I guess.. because they used to be such a huge part of my life.

You live, You learn.

Hello! Does anyone still use these things? If you’re a new staffer and you stumble across my blog, just comment and I’ll add you to the side over there. =D

*dance party* Real life finally slowed down! When I got my new job at the hospital, I had to go through a couple months of full time training. I have never in my life been more tired than I was those two months.. Keeping up with summer classes on top of that was no fun either. I’m just glad everything has settled down!

Speaking of dance party.. I am addicted to The Office lately. My best friend hates the show, so I never have anyone to talk/laugh to about it. xD I always get my best quotes from that show, here’s my personal fave:

When I first heard that on one of the episodes, I about died laughing! So perfect. Point of this? If ever you’re having a horrible day (which lately for me is every day), watch an episode (or in my case; whole season) of the Office! You’ll be sure to get a good laugh!

Well.. nothing else really to say right now. Just wanted to see what my new theme looked like. =D OH! I missed all of you, and it feels wonderful to be back. <3

So as a Phlebotomist, your biggest compliment is always “Wow! They never get that on the first try!” or “You GOT it? Nice! I didn’t even feel it!” I had a lot of those today, so I must be doing something right! I did miss a couple, which is normal (I mean come on, I’ve only been doing it for 2 weeks now!). Luckily those couple people were super nice about it. We all have to start somewhere afterall!

I’ve slowly been getting back into the swing of things with JN. Took the Colour Guide project back on. *pets her baby* As sad as it may sound to some, I’ve MISSED the 24/7 work I used to do there for PPP. Haha! I love keeping busy! I’ll be back to my normal Nocturnal-self after next week however, as that’s when my internship ends.

Life as I know it is still looking up. I’m SO thankful for my wonderful family (and the only two true RL friends that I have now). Glad I came out from under my rock.. it was too dark and scary for me! xD

Well, bed is calling my name. Back at the Hospital in the morning. <3

*waves* Long time no see, right?

I know, I know – I disappeared without warning or reason, but sometimes real life slams down on you & there’s no way to ignore it. It’s like I went outside for the first time and couldn’t find my way back in. Between car accidents, cancer, heart break & loss – it just feels like I’ve experienced all things horrible these past couple of months. It can only get better from here, right?

I’m not going to go into detail, because that would defeat my whole reasoning for disappearing in the first place. I just didn’t want my JN life & chats/blog posts to turn into a sob story/pity party everyday. It would have been nice to have people in my life who supported and were there for me, but I just wasn’t ready. I consider each and every one of you as a dear friend – people I know I can count on/trust – and you all know me as the “fun, caring & nice Ally”, I didn’t want that view of me to change. I just was so gloomy and down on life. Not my normal self, that’s for sure. I’m glad I took some time to heal though, because now I can come back and honestly say that I’m ready to BE back! I’ve missed all of you so much!

Well, I think I’ll bring this to a close now. On a happier note, real life is definitely looking up! We found out today that my Grandma, who was diagnosed with cancer in her skull about 2 years ago & was given a 10% chance of survival is now CANCER FREE! What a defeat! She’s the strongest lady I know, and I’m so proud of her. =D I figure if she can conquer something incurable like Cancer, then I can do & overcome anything that life decides to throw my way!
